Landmark Title recently added a new department to expand its client services. The Builder and Developer Direct Services department will provide value-added services directly to the developers, sub-dividers and homebuilder community. They will work closely with builders and developers on everything from single site builds to master planned communities, ultimately helping clients navigate the Subdivision Disclosure Report process (public report), escrow and title.
Landmark Title’s newest hire, John Gerard, will oversee the new department as the Vice President of Builder and Developer Direct Services. Under John’s direction, Landmark Title will assist clients in land acquisition, providing the necessary research for the entitlement of property, and State of Arizona Department of Real Estate (DRE) processing. John and his team will also work to coordinate projects, monitor progress and identify and address potential issues.
John has extensive experience in the title industry with a career in real estate that spans 35 years. He is well-versed in State of Arizona Department of Real Estate State statutes governing the division of land and commissioner’s rules, which is invaluable in navigating clients through a complex land acquisition process.
At Landmark Title, we understand that a well thought out project plan and subsequent public report application filing can have a positive impact on a homebuilding sales program.
During the public report process, we maintain regular contact with the DRE to make sure each requirement is met as scheduled. Landmark Title monitors progress and keeps you informed through proactive reporting. We will assist in the preparation of the “Questionnaire for Public Report” for DRE submission as well as provide direction for the various filings, including:
- Lot Reservation
- Conditional Sales Exemption
- Subsequent Owners Exemption
- Final Public Report
- Amended Public Report
